General
Set your store name and logo, site URL, timezone, currency, amount format and interface language.
The General tab holds your organization's identity and the way Fullmetrix displays dates and amounts. It is the first tab to check after connecting your store.
To open it, click Settings in the sidebar. The page opens directly on General. It has three cards, Store settings, Interface language and Number and currency format.
Where the prefilled values come from
When you connect your store, we read its settings and fill in the timezone, currency, currency position, separators and number of decimals. You often have nothing to type.
As soon as you change one of these fields yourself, your choice is kept. Reconnecting the store no longer overwrites it. Only the Redetect button, described below, reads the store values again and replaces yours.
Change the name, logo and site URL
The Store settings card groups four fields and a Save button at the top right. The button stays greyed out until you change something.
Change the store name
In Store name, type the name that should appear in the sidebar and the organization switcher. This is the organization name inside Fullmetrix. It changes nothing on your online store.
Add a logo
The small square to the left of the name holds the logo. Click it to pick an image, or drag an image onto it. PNG, JPG, WebP and SVG are accepted, up to 2 MB. A square image works best, because it is shown in a square in the sidebar.
The logo is saved as soon as the upload finishes, without clicking Save. To remove it, hover over the square and click the small red bin that appears in its corner.
If the file is larger than 2 MB, the message File is too large (max 2 MB) appears and nothing is uploaded. Make the image smaller and try again.
Check the site URL
Site URL holds the address your visitors see, for example https://www.mystore.com. It is filled with your store address when the store connects.
Change it only if your visitors browse a different address from your platform's. That is the case for a headless site, meaning a storefront built separately that fetches products and orders from your platform. In that case, enter the address of the visible site. It is used in particular by site tracking.
Save
Click Save. The message Settings saved confirms the change. If the name could not be changed, the message Unable to rename the organization appears. Reload the page and try again.
Choose the timezone
The Timezone decides where each day starts and ends in your reports. An order placed at 11.30 PM in Montreal already falls on the next day if the organization is set to Paris. Pick the timezone in which your team closes the books for the day, usually the one of your head office or main market.
The list offers the most common timezones for Europe, North America, North Africa, the Middle East, Japan and Australia. Pick a value, then click Save.
If a day's numbers differ from your store admin, first check that both tools use the same timezone. We cover these cases in Currencies and timezones.
Choose your reporting currency
The Currency is the currency in which all your reports are expressed. Click the field, type the code or name in Search a currency..., pick it and click Save.
If your store sells in several currencies, orders in another currency are converted into this one during sync, at the rate of the order date. The original amount stays on the order.
Choose the interface language
The Interface language card offers eight languages, Français, English, Español, Italiano, Deutsch, Nederlands, Português and Polski. Pick one from the list. The app switches language right away, with no button to click.
This choice only applies to you. Your teammates keep the language they chose. It does not translate your store data, such as product or category names.
Set how amounts are displayed
The Number and currency format card changes how amounts are written on screen, never their value. Each list is saved as soon as you pick an option.
| Setting | Options | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Currency position | Automatic, Before (€100), After (100€) | Automatic follows the usual format of the interface language and currency |
| Thousands separator | Space ( ), Comma (,), Dot (.), None | 12 450 or 12,450 or 12.450 or 12450 |
| Decimal separator | Comma (,), Dot (.) | 19,90 or 19.90 |
| Decimals | 0, 1, 2 or 3 | 2 shows 19.90, 0 shows 20 |
Avoid using the same character for thousands and decimals. An amount like 1.250.00 becomes unreadable.
Take the store settings again with Redetect
The Redetect button, at the top right of the card, reads your store settings again and applies them here. It replaces the timezone, the currency and the four display settings with the store's, even if you had changed them yourself.
Use it after changing the currency or price format in your store admin. The message Settings redetected from store confirms the operation. If the store does not answer, the message Error redetecting settings appears. Check that the Fullmetrix module is active on your store, then try again.
