Contacts

Understand where your contacts come from, where to find them in Fullmetrix and how to enrich them with imports and tags.

A contact is a person we can identify because they left an email address or a phone number. They are your customers synced from the store, visitors who entered their email in a cart or a form, and people you add yourself through an import. Fullmetrix brings them together in one list, with one profile per person.

The Contacts section sits in the sidebar, in the Marketing group. It holds three pages, All contacts, Import and Tags.

What to connect first

The All contacts list needs a connected store. Without one, the page shows a Connect E-commerce screen with a Set up button. To connect your store, follow the guide for your platform in Platforms.

Right after the connection, we import your store history. During that time the page shows Preparing your workspace and refreshes on its own once the data is ready.

To see what each person did on your site (page views, viewed products, cart adds), site tracking must be active. You set it up in Site tracking.

What contacts are for

Once your contacts are in place, you can for example

  • find a person by email, name or phone and read everything they did on your store,
  • import a list of leads from a trade show and give them a shared tag,
  • narrow the list to WhatsApp subscribers who ordered this month, then save that filter as a segment,
  • send a segment of contacts to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Omnisend or Klaviyo from Audience synchronization.

Segments have their own sidebar entry, Segments, right below Contacts. Everything about building them is explained in Segments.
