Data and synchronization

Understand how your store's data reaches Fullmetrix, how to check it's up to date and why a number can differ from your store admin.

Fullmetrix doesn't guess anything. All your e-commerce reports are calculated from a copy of your store's data, orders, customers, products and refunds. That copy is called synchronization. It starts when you connect your store and keeps itself up to date afterwards.

This section explains what happens between your store and Fullmetrix. Read it if you just connected your store, if you want to know whether your numbers are up to date, or if a number doesn't match what you see in your store admin.

Before you start

You need a connected store. If that's not done yet, follow your platform's guide in Platforms. You connect with a module installed on PrestaShop, WooCommerce, Magento or Sylius, and with an app on Shopify.

Where to see the state of your data

Everything happens in Settings, Integrations tab. Each store has a card with a colored dot, the Last sync date and the useful buttons. A green dot means everything works.

Two other settings tabs change how your numbers are calculated and shown. The General tab sets the currency and timezone. The Reports tab decides which orders count and what is removed from revenue.

Where to start

If you just connected your store, read Historical import, then set up excluded order statuses as explained in Data accuracy. That setting makes the biggest difference between your numbers and your store admin's.

If something isn't working, the Troubleshooting section starts right from the symptom.
